Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese technique of inserting needles in specific points around the body to affect the nervous system.

Its primary use in rehabilitation therapy is for pain management or stimulation of the nervous system.

Acupuncture is used for pain management in treating:

• disc disease
• arthritis
• post surgery, as well as
• to help stimulate the nerve fibers in cases of paralysis.

The vast majority of our acupuncture patients enjoy their treatment. Many of them are are relaxed and some even fall asleep! The treatments take anywhere from 20-30 minutes and generally improvement is seen within 6 treatment sessions.
